Comment by Paul William Conlan on March 26, 2008 at 6:23pm - With 6 games left, I've had some good feedback and comments on the teams conduct and progress so far from a variety of sources including parents, an experienced referee and various opposition coaches, this is very rewarding for me personally as it indicates I have managed to improve the boys general positional awareness, techniques and skills over this season. We have a lot of work to do especially progressing in the 4-4-2 system by getting to tuck wide midfielders inside and overloading the middle area. I'd also like to introduce them to the 3-5-2 formation concentrating on a 5-3-2 formation when defending with both wide midfielders dropping into defensive positions, but this has been a very positive 1st season for me.
