About Me:

A 69-year old Nigerian, I obtained my first football coaching certificate in 1961; but became a full-time football coach in 1974. I later attended coaching and attachment programmes in Germany (3 months in 1976) and Brazil (6 months in 1981).
I have handled some leading club teams in Nigeria, and the Nigeria National Team (Silver at 1984 African Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoire, and to 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan).
I was on contract appointment with Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (1998-2001).
I was designated member of Technical Committee and Technical Instructor of Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) in 1988 (to date), and Technical Instructor (1994) and member of Technical Committee (1998) of Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) (to date). In these capacities I have been part of several development programmes of the two bodies worldwide - including running coaching courses.

STYLE OF PLAY: Positive and functional styles.
PLAYERS: Any player that plays "in the team" and is focussed, and has all-round fitness for football - Intellectual (football and otherwise), Psychological, Medical, Physiological (in all its ramifications), Technical (the 3R's - Receiving/Releasing/Retaining the ball), and Tactical (individual and team).
COACHES: Any coach that believes in development, capable of identifying talents and polishing them into stars.
MOMENTS: Any moment that creates excitement through the players' show of all-round fitness in both Attack and Defence.
