Coaching courses are only one part of the puzzle. Find several good coaching mentors. Watch and learn from them. Pick up what will best fit your individual coaching style and use it. You are unique, so don't try to become a mirror image of another. The X's and O's of coaching are nothing without the coaching points, so listen to your mentors when they are running a session. Hope this helps.

As a member of the board of directors of Soccer Maine, (our state governing body) I would be happy to bring up this group as a focus charity for all the players, clubs, and teams in Maine. (we have about 12,000 members). Once everything is organized on your end (such as a location to send donations) I can have it posted on our website and published in our quarterly newsletter to let people know about it and contribute. (I know I have at least 2or3 pairs of old boots and shin guards here at my house!)
