Update

Started the 1st session last Monday with a coaching buddy, focusing on technique while the weather is fine and the space is free. 1st impressions.... a small team for thier age, but should grow 2/3 " during the summer months, some with ability and some good 1st touches. This week, did the session on my own, revisiting the short/long passing techniques in two 15min practices, but they struggled to link 2 passes together without being closed down by defenders !!! +*&%$£".... really frustrating… Continue

Break

Well, I've decided to have a break from coaching for a while, I managed to stick with this team for 2 seasons and recruited another Level 2 coach who wanted to get involved in this age group as he was taking his Level 3, but we got fed up with the poor discipline from the U15's and both concluded we weren't there to to teach young men how to behave.
